No Tailgating at MetLife?
Bring the Party to Your Location Instead.
MetLife Stadium is not permitting stadium tailgating for FIFA World Cup 2026 matches — which means the traditional parking lot experience is off the table. But that doesn't mean your celebration has to be.
MES NJ delivers the complete tailgate experience directly to your home, backyard, driveway, or private venue. Watch the pre-match coverage on dual 50" Smart TVs, fire up the grill, tap the keg, and enjoy the biggest sporting event in the world — on your terms, at your location, with zero restrictions.

When Does My Tailgate Party Start?
Parking lots at MetLife Stadium open 5 hours prior to kickoff or main act. MES NJ will enter the parking lot at opening to secure your tailgate location. Setup takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Your tailgate will begin upon setup completion based on your requested start time.

We will confirm your start time with you prior to the day of the event.
Where Is My Tailgate Location?
Upon gate opening, MES NJ will set up your tailgate party in one of the following areas, depending on availability. Due to parking requirements, the setup will be positioned along the curbline of the parking area.
- Platinum Lot F (VIP) — along curbline
- Platinum Lot G (VIP) — along curbline
The main party contact will be notified of the exact location as soon as MES NJ is parked. If you prefer a different location, please communicate this at time of booking.
Can We Tailgate During and/or After the Game?
During the Game: Yes — you may extend your tailgate during the game for guests who wish to stay behind. The hourly extension rate of $100/hr applies.
Post-Game: All parking lots close 2 hours after the conclusion of the game or event. You may extend your tailgate for up to one (1) hour after the game ends, at which point breakdown of all equipment will begin.
Post-Concert: Per venue rules, breakdown of all equipment will begin at the end of the contracted time or after the optional one (1) hour add-on.

The main party contact will be notified of the exact location as soon as MES NJ is parked.
Can We Tailgate During and/or After the Game?
During the Game: Unfortunately, no. Per Lincoln Financial Field venue regulations, all tailgating must stop 45 minutes after kickoff. To allow for equipment breakdown, your tailgate must conclude shortly after kickoff begins.
Post-Concert: You may extend your tailgate for up to one (1) hour after the beginning of the concert, at which point breakdown of the trailer and all equipment will begin.

Parking lots at SHI Stadium open 5 hours before kickoff. MES NJ will enter upon opening to secure your tailgate location. Setup takes approximately 45 minutes. Most standard packages run for 4 hours leading up to kickoff.
We will confirm your desired start time upon booking.
Where Is My Tailgate Location?
Due to trailer size requirements, we are limited to the following lot unless the renter has a viable nearby private location (e.g., home, driveway, or yard):
- Orange Lot (Jersey Mike's Arena Lot) — the only lot at SHI Stadium that permits trailers. Game-day parking passes are available for this lot. Note: there is a 10-minute shuttle ride to and from the stadium on game day.
Can We Tailgate During and/or After the Game?
During the Game: Unfortunately, no. Tailgating must conclude at kickoff and the parking lot must be vacated at that time.
Post-Game: Post-game tailgate extensions are available if the renter can provide a viable nearby private location, such as a home, driveway, or other non-public venue.
Renter acknowledges that they have received instructions on the operation, use, and maintenance of the trailer, including safety precautions for connecting propane bottles and operating all onboard appliances.
MES NJ cannot be held responsible for reception or streaming issues arising from inclement weather or signal interference. We recommend locations with a clear view of the sky and away from large buildings or trees that may obstruct signal reception.
